Components

  1. Windows service (loads and serves dataset to device)
  2. Android application (downloads and uses data)

How it works

  1. Install the Windows service on your own server or PC
  2. Configure the Windows service to connect to your database (e.g., Access, Excel, SQL Server, Google Sheets)
  3. Install the Android application on your Android device(s)
  4. Configure the Android application to connect to the Windows service via internet
  5. Use the Android application to download the dataset from the Windows service
  6. Scan and count items
  7. Export the counted data from the Android application

  • Database / dataset changes are immediately read by the Windows service
  • Remote devices are updated at set intervals or at will
